Student Assembly Working to Reform the Grotto

As student reports against the Grotto continue to be submitted, a more active Student Assembly has moved to inform students, and reform the restaurant. Angela Dansie who is in charge of the postings about the Grotto seen around the school, explained the frustration many feel. “Having already prepaid for the meal plans, and being required to stay on them, ensures profit for the Grotto, no matter the quality of service that they provide,” she said.

The Grotto Now Offering Less at Breakfast

Breakfast used to be the most important meal of the day. This all changed for students at Franklin last week, when the Grotto began enforcing a three-item breakfast policy. The policy, that has always been in the Grotto's contract, yet not enforced, permits students on the meal plan who have prepaid 10 CHF only three separate breakfast choices.
